Power outage affecting over 1K Alexandria Customers
UPDATE (1:28 PM):: Spoke with representative from Dominion who notes all power should be back ON to those that were affected by the brief outage. The rep says the outage was caused by an underground cable failure in the North Royal Street and First Street area. Residents in that location may notice a lingering odor of smoke for some time but, the cause has been fixed.
