Mackie’s Bar & Grill
Mackie’s, a steak-based bar and restaurant in Old Town Alexandria, offers great food and atmosphere for a sporting event in a laid back, classy style. It is one of the ‘new kids on the block’. The dining menu item is available if you’re sitting in the bar area. Mackie’s is located at 907 King Street right in the heart of Old Town.
A couple of cool things about Mackie’s is that the restaurant is named after Sang’s (the owner’s) wife and a lot of the ingredients come fresh from their own backyard.

Pork Barrel BBQ
UPDATE (February 3): We hear Pork Barrell BBQ is CLOSED for former Mayor Bill Euille’s annual Super Bowl party.
Like Sweet Fire Donna’s (a sister joint), Pork Barrel BBQ serves up some great BBQ-style comfort food. Located at 2312 Mt Vernon Avenue in the Del Ray neighborhood, Pork Barrel BBQ is one of two (2) places on this list on Del Ray’s ‘The Avenue’. They have a longer bar than Sweet Fire Donna’s and lots of flat screen TVs for watching the BIG game.

Mason Social is another of the ‘New kids on the block’ in Alexandria, Virginia, opening in the booming Braddock Road Metro neighborhood at 728 N. Henry Street. It’s become a favorite spot of mine for many reasons, chief of which is the seven (7) large flat screen TV’s in the bar area for sports viewing and the great food. You MUST give the ‘Marrow’ Burger a try.

Reynold’s Street Bar & Grill
Reynold’s Street is just a little joint located in the West End of Alexandria, Virginia, located at 34 S. Reynolds Street. But, it has a reputation of being a Wisconsin-style bar (Packers) with beer, wine, ciders, an extensive menu, and lots of flat screen TVs for watching the BIG game. Good Greek & Italian menu.

Del Ray Pizzeria
If you like great beer and great pizza, Del Ray Pizzeria in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia is the spot for you.
