In February 2010, the Alexandria, Virginia area got hit with a heck of a lot of snow due to Snowmageddon 2010. Above is what Carlyle looked like once I was able to get out and about after part 1 of the storm which was seven (7) years ago today. More photos of Snowmageddon 1 are below.
It snowed so much during snowmageddon (17.8″) that the City of Alexandria, Virginia called in the heavy equipment to remove the snow.
