DASH Bus and the King Street Trolley Labor Day Schedule

DASH Bus will operate a SUNDAY schedule in observance of the Labor Day Holiday on Monday, September 5th.

The King Street Trolley operates daily, every 10-15 minutes, between the King Street Metro to the waterfront on the following schedule.

  • Sunday – Wednesday: 10 a.m. – 10:15 p.m.
  • Thursday – Saturday: 10 a.m. – 12 a.m.

DASH Bus Memorial Day Schedule

On this Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2016, DASH Bus will be operating on a SUNDAY schedule in Alexandria, Virginia.

King Street Trolley Service Schedule:

The King Street Trolley operates daily, every 15 minutes, between the King Street Metro to the waterfront.

  • Sunday – Wednesday: 10:00 am – 10:15 pm
  • Thursday – Saturday: 10:00 am – 12:00 am

DASH ALERT: Saturday Schedule on Snow Routes for Mon., Feb. 15

Today, Monday, February 15, Presidents Day, DASH is operating on a SATURDAY schedule with SNOW ROUTE DETOURS in effect that may experience possible delays.

DASH Snow Routes:

The King Street Trolley will operate on a regular schedule every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. until 10:15 p.m. As weather or road conditions change, you will be notified of any changes to DASH service.

President’s Day schedule of services in Alexandria

DASH Bus will run on a Saturday schedule for President’s Day while the King Street Trolley will operate on a normal schedule, from 10 a.m. to 10:15 p.m.

As a reminder of normal holiday procedure, the Alexandria Police Department will suspend enforcement of parking restrictions at metered spaces and residential permit parking districts on February 15. This suspension of enforcement applies only to the restrictions at legal parking spaces, and does not permit parking in any location normally prohibited (for example, no parking zones, loading zones, or spaces for persons with disabilities). HOV lane restrictions will also be suspended on February 15.

DASH ALERT: Saturday Schedule on Snow Routes Operating from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, January 27.

* UPDATE*

DASH is currently operating supplemental service (see UPDATED INFORMATION below). Please be advised that you may see a DASH bus on a non-snow route today as we are evaluating all routes for future service. DASH is still operating on a Saturday Schedule on the DASH Snow Routes with all service ending at 7 p.m. today.

For today, Wednesday, January 27, DASH will operate as follows:

  • SATURDAY schedule on the DASH Snow Routes with a delayed opening starting at 7 a.m. with all service ending at 7 p.m. All buses will pick up their runs starting at 7 a.m., even if it is mid-route, and not the first time on the schedule.
  • The King Street Trolley will operate on a regular schedule every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
  • All DASH Bus and King Street Trolley service will end at 7 p.m.
  • For alternate bus service in Alexandria, please see Metrobus routes, which will operate on a moderate snow plan. Metrobus 28A, 29K, and 29N routes will make all local stops at Alexandria DASH bus stops after 7 p.m. after DASH service ends.
  • As weather or road conditions change, you will be notified of any changes to DASH service. Stay connected with DASH through the DASH website, and Twitter and Facebook pages for service announcements as they occur.

  • Express buses will operate normal Weekday schedule between King Street Metro and Mark Center.
  • Morning AM service will be extended to 12 p.m. to accommodate Federal government three hour delay.

AT3

  • Modified Schedules: AT3 North  AT3 South
  • Will operate between Braddock Metro and Pentagon (No service to Old Town, see AT3-4 Loop for Old Town service.)
  • Now – 12 p.m. every 20 minutes
  • 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. every 20 minutes

AT4

  • Modified Schedules: AT4 North  AT4 South
  • Will operate between Braddock Metro and Pentagon (No service to Old Town, see AT3-4 Loop for Old Town service.)
  • Now – 12 p.m. every 20 minutes
  • 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. every 20 minutes

AT3-4 Loop

  • View Modified AT3/4 Loop Schedule
  • Now – 12 p.m.: Will operate between Hunting Point and Braddock Metro every 60 minutes. (No service to Parkfairfax, see AT3 or AT4 for service to Parkfairfax.)
  • 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.: Will operate regular Saturday route and schedule from Royal & Wilkes to Parkfairfax.
  • 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.: Will operate between Hunting Point and Braddock Metro every 60 minutes. (No service to Parkfairfax, see AT3 or AT4 for service to Parkfairfax.)

DASH ALERT: Saturday Service Schedule on Snow Routes
Operating from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. on 1/27

On Wednesday, January 27, DASH will operate as follows:

  • SATURDAY schedule on the DASH Snow Routes with a delayed opening starting at 7 a.m. with all service ending at 7 p.m. All buses will pick up their runs starting at 7 a.m., even if it is mid-route, and not the first time on the schedule.
  • The King Street Trolley will operate on a regular schedule every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
  • All DASH Bus and King Street Trolley service will end at 7 p.m.
  • Due to continued hazardous road conditions, DASH will be operating Saturday service schedules on all routes with the addition of: Supplemental Mark Center Express – AT2Xservice and supplemental service to the Pentagon should the Federal Government open tomorrow.
  • The DASH AT3/4 Loop will operate if road conditions allow.
  • For alternate bus service in Alexandria, please see Metrobus routes, which will operate on a moderate snow plan. Metrobus 28A, 29K, and 29N routes will make all local stops at Alexandria DASH bus stops after 7 p.m. after DASH service ends.
