Police Conduct Death Investigation on Quantrell Avenue

This is an update to this post.

UPDATE (9:13 AM 4/3): Sources tell me APD is investigating whether the man jumped, fell or was pushed to his death. This death sounds similar to another death recently in the West End doesn’t it?

The Alexandria Police Department is conducting a death investigation in the 5800 block of Quantrell Avenue. This is where Tower 2000, a high-rise apartment building is located.

Around 9:49 AM on Thursday, April 2, 2015, officers responded to the report of a person found deceased behind a building. Upon arrival, they located the victim, a 21 year-old male. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause and manner of death will be determined through an autopsy.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Detective William Oakley at 703.746.6606.
