There’s been a bit of excitement in the West End of Alexandria, Virginia today as a U.S. Air Force helicopter has made an emergency landing behind William Ramsey school on Sanger Ave around 10:30 a.m. No one was injured on the flight. No one was on the field when the emergency landing was made.


Due to this morning’s Winter Storm, Alexandria Police officers are out dealing with abandoned cars between Holmes Run Parkway and Kenmore Avenue in the West End Landmark/Van Dorn neighborhood of Alexandria and  drivers should use CAUTION when traveling in the area. Trying to see if and when area has been cleared.
