Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza + Tap
This is an update to this post.

Owner Jason Yates and Alexandria Restaurant Partners (ARP) David Clapp and Dave Nicholas are pleased to announce the opening of Lena’s Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap, located in the Rosemont neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia at 401 E. Braddock Road, 22301.  The restaurant opens TODAY (October 26) to the public.

Those visiting the 100-seat restaurant, including a 68-seat outdoor seasonal patio, will enjoy authentic Neapolitan pizza made with seasonal, all-natural ingredients.  Paul Beckmann of Beckmann Architects has designed the restaurant to support the vision of the Yates family, which is to provide a simple, authentic neighborhood destination.

Lena’s Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap will serve lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.

Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza + Tap at Yates Corner
A new wood-fired Pizza restaurant called ‘Lena’s Wood-Fired Pizza + Tap‘ is opening at Yates Corner (Mount Vernon Avenue and Braddock Road) in the Rosemont neighborhood area, located near the Braddock Road Metro station.

The new joint will be opening in September as American Real Estate Partners just received the building permits TODAY from the City of Alexandria. Construction is expected to start next week. The joint will have 120 seats and will have outdoor seating. We hear there will be an outdoor fire pit on the plaza at Yates Corner as well. Check out the rendering above…

Holiday lights display at Yates Corner in the Rosemont/Del Ray neighborhood of Aloexandria, Virginia

OK, as our readers are well aware, I’m a sucker for a good Holiday lights display. Click on the images above and below for a larger view of this really great display of Christmas spirit at Yates Corner in the Rosemont/Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria. IMHO, this is the best display by a business of the Christmas spirit in this section of Alexandria. Check out the trees above and the Christmas tree below. Well done!

Do you know of a good one we should snap a photo of? Do you have one of your own you’d like to share? Let me know in the comments below.
